LGBT Foundation provides lots of services including sexual health support, peer support, and trans advocacy. â€‹

TACT - Trans Advocacy and Care Team provides community care for trans and non-binary folks, which includes gender advocates who are trans-identified peer counselors and support groups.

The Trevor Project provides information and support to LGBTQIA+ youth. They have a 24/7 support line that’s free and confidential. Learn about various topics such as gender identity, coming out, and intersectionality. They also have an online community called TrevorSpace for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13-24 years old.

TransLifeLine is run by trans people and supports trans people. They have a rich resource page include gender transitions, social justice, and immigration.

Rape Trauma Services serves San Mateo County and provides a free, 24/7, and confidential crisis line for those who have experienced sexual violence. They provide other services, such as counselors who accompany survivors during medical exams and dealing with law enforcement.

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is an anti-sexual violence organization. They provide the National Sexual Assault Hotline, which is available 24/7. Call 800-656-HOPE (4673) to be connected to a trained provider. Chat online with a support specialist. En Español.

Helping Survivors is an organization that supports survivors of sexual assault, abuse, and harassment get the resources that they need, which may include legal support. This is a great resource in better understanding various types of assaults (eg, workplace, rideshare, doctor abuse).
